 Abstract:  Samuel Huntington (1765-1817) was an Ohio state legislator, Ohio Supreme Court Justice, and Governor of Ohio (1808-1810). The collection consists of letters to Huntington relating to Ohio politics and elections, land transactions, War of 1812, and settlement and development of the Western Reserve. Correspondents include Henry Champion, Moses Cleaveland, Gideon Granger, Stanley Griswold, Return J. Meigs, Jeremiah Morrow, Calvin Pease, John Smith, Amos Spafford, Edward Tiffin, George Tod, Elisha Tracy, Elijah Wadsworth, and Thomas Worthington.
